We are pleased to announce we are retained with a long-established manufacturing client who boast an impressive range of clients and services.

The purpose of this role is to support the business in areas of product conformance, including internal and external/supplier non-conformance.

This role reports directly to the Quality Manager working closely with the business's operations and engineering teams.

Job Role

  • Investigation & sentencing of internal MRB issues. Lead RCCA activity using industry standard tools.
  • Data collection, analysis and presentation. Drive the reduction of non-conformance.
  • Report weekly on Quality KPI's for functional programme areas, ensuring clear communication of performance and trends.
  • Deal with representatives on quality concerns, including investigations on non-conformance and recommending corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Actively support the programme and engineering teams on NPI programs relative to the QE's customer focus. Through the PPAP process and all MSA and FMEA activities to ensure final part conformance is adequately monitored and managed and reflects customer engineering definition.
  • Ensure through regular communication and audit the requirements in the quality management system are communicated and complied with. They play an integral role in ensuring process and procedures are complied with.
  • Audit process and system within the manufacturing environment to ensure control and process adherence.
  • Support external audits and auditor management.

  • Professional Requirements and Experience

Time Served Engineer or with demonstrated practical experience in Machining (CNC)

  • Quality Tools Requirement

You must have hands on experience and expertise using, managing and promoting the following quality tools.

  • Quality Engineering Skills

Interpretation of Engineering Definitions

Creation of internal standards, SOP, methods and procedures management

Coordination and delivery of RCCA after supplier, internal and external conformance issues

Coordination and delivery of process improvement

Coordination and delivery of non-conformance reduction
