justteachers is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school on the outskirts of Barnoldswick. This full-time position, starting in September 2025, offers the opportunity to support pupils in a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
Assist with small group and one-to-one support, helping children reach their potential
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Help prepare classroom materials and learning resources
Provide support to pupils with additional learning needs
- Experience working with primary-aged children (school-based experience preferred)
- A patient, caring, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for supporting childrens learning and development
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
