If so, we have the opportunity you've been looking for! Our Client: We are currently assisting a well-established legal firm with their search for a Paralegal for their office in Barnoldswick. They are proud to have built up an exceptional reputation within the local area and they require a positive team player to join and play a pivotal role within the department. The Role: You will cover a wide range of duties,  providing full administrative support to their Fee Earners in the Conveyancing department. Ideally you will come from a Legal or Professional Services background in order for you to be able to adapt quickly to the fast-paced environment that this fantastic opportunity presents. Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage client matters efficiently and accurately using the case management system, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Organise, prepare, and archive legal documentation.
  • Oversee the Fee Earner’s diary, scheduling client appointments and meetings as needed.
  • Draft client communications through audio typing, word processing, or digital dictation.
  • Handle telephone calls, enquiries, and requests from clients and third parties.
  • Manage incoming emails, post, photocopying, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Take responsibility for ordering property searches and conducting necessary client identity checks.
  • Manage Land Registry tasks, including registering completed properties and following up as needed.
  • Prepare client invoices and manage account ledgers.
  • Provide support to other assistants and the management team when required.
Skills required:
  • Prior experience in Legal - Conveyancing sector (highly preferable).
  • Great attention to detail to produce work / documentation which is consistently of a high standard.
  • Experienced in both audio and copy typing.
  • Familiar with MS Office packages.
  • Excellent communication skills and high levels of attention to detail.
  • A positive, flexible, can-do attitude.
In return the successful Paralegal will receive a salary of between £26,000 - £28,500 per annum depending on experience, working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
