On behalf of our client, a successful Aerospace Engineering company, we are seekingSkilled Inspectors to join their team in Earby, Lancashire.

Role Overview:

As an Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that manufactured parts meet strict customer quality standards. Your role will involve first-off and batch inspection of CNC milled prismatic components, CNC turned parts, and fully assembled products to high aerospace quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting first-off and batch inspections of machined and assembled components
  • Detecting errors in workshop documentation
  • Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings
  • Using CMM and various electronic/hand-held measuring instruments
  • Supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous experience in inspection or using inspection equipment
  • Strong knowledge of first-principle measuring equipment
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CMM measurement results
  • Understanding of customer quality requirements and internal inspection procedures
  • High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work across different inspection areas
