Role Overview

Lead the development and delivery of our Student Engagement plan, focusing on recruiting students through community and partner referrals. Build strong stakeholder relationships and support curriculum growth through the innovation fund.

Key Responsibilities

  • Student Recruitment: Develop and implement a Student Engagement plan to meet recruitment targets.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders to support the College’s mission.
  • Event Representation: Promote the College at recruitment events and career fairs.
  • Feedback Management: Collaborate with the Horticulture Project Lead to monitor and act on feedback.
  • Curriculum Insight: Stay updated on curriculum developments, especially in horticulture.
  • Promotion: Act as an ambassador for the College, presenting its offerings to partners and prospective students.
  • Content Creation: Capture and share event content for promotional use.
  • Compliance: Adhere to GDPR and College policies.

What are the required skills and qualifications needed for this role?

  • Previous experience within Further Education
  • Previous experience with managing and liaising with stakeholders
  • Previous experience of working in the community / partner referrals
  • To be organised, manage your own diary and monitor feedback and outcomes from teams.
  • Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Reed Compliance
