Arena Stadia Seating manufacture and install seating for stadiums such as all the big football clubs.

Harold Fisher (Plastics) is the moulding plant that makes all their plastic seats plus products for other markets.

They are owned by Dunham Massey Investment Group, turnover £20m and have ambitions to grow through NPD and new markets.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join their Senior Management Team as Group Financial Controller with a possible future route to Finance Director.

The role will report to the Group Finance Director / Chief Executive, she has been with the business for 8 years and has fostered a supportive and enthusiastic culture across the business.

The Financial Controller is pivotal to the financial strategy of the business, responsible in delivering robust and accurate financial operations, management and reporting to enable decision making. The Financial Controller will have passion and energy and be ready to challenge, assist and make an impactful impression to all senior stakeholders.

Previous manufacturing or staff management experience is not essential.

Candidates looking for full time and part time opportunities will be considered.

  • Consolidation of the management accounts with commentary
  • Responsible for forecasting, cash management, working capital practices and funding opportunities to support growth.
  • Ensure financial controls are robust and compliant with statutory requirements.
  • Provide financial analysis, modelling and challenge to ensure risks are mitigated and effective commercial decision making occurs.

  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement within the business
  • Develop the forecasts for the business, understanding the demands of the customers, and ensuring production capacity is achieved.

You will be;

  • Qualified Accountant CIMA/ACCA/ACA
  • Previously worked in a SME environment
  • Capable of multitasking and organising time effectively.
  • Self-driven, able to influence internal and external stakeholders
  • Commercially astute with the ability to demonstrate business understanding
