This is a varied reporting role, responsible for management accounting, performance reporting and commentary, and involved in budgeting and forecasting processes. You will work closely with stakeholders across the division to support with reporting and key decision making. The position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills and a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Description

  • Prepare, review and analyse monthly financial reports.
  • Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures in line with company objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to improve financial performance and efficiency.
  • Manage budget planning and cost management for the department.
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to the management team.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Undertake cost centre analysis as part of month end process
  • Ad-hoc project work as required

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • Accountancy Qualification
  • Experience in a similar role within the distribution/logistics industry
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Superior attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to work with stakeholders across all levels
