Sewell Wallis are working with a well established Accountancy Practice who are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to their offices in Barnsley and Doncaster.

The successful candidate will work with a highly varied client base, with the opportunity to develop great exposure across all areas of accounting, coupled with working within a highly supportive environment.

What will you be doing?

  • Oversee an allocation of clients within a varied portfolio.
  • Preparation of Statutory accounts.
  • Preparation of Management Accounts.
  • Corporate and Personal Tax.
  • Review of accounts prepared by the team.
  • Training and advice on accounting software.
  • Assist with staff development and training.

What skills are we looking for?

  • AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified.
  • At least 5 years experience of working within an Accountancy Practice and managing a portfolio of clients.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Positive and proactive attitude to work.
