Page Personnel are actively working with a long standing client who are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join their team in Barnsley on a permanent basis. My client is looking for a candidate who has gained 1-2 years experience as an Accounts Assistant and who is looking to continue developing and take the next step in their accounting career through extensive accounting function exposure and access to further accounting qualifications. My client is an established company in the industrial sector, that is well known for their excellent training and company culture.

Description

  • Responsible for managing Purchase ledger and Sales ledger functions
  • Registering and processing invoices
  • Issuing for authorisation
  • Full analysis and financial reporting
  • Timely payment generation (BACS and bank transfers processing)
  • Supporting in credit control function
  • Bank reconciliations

Profile

  • Have gained 1-2 years experience in a similar role
  • A solid understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong motivation to progress and develop in long term finance career
