We are seeking a skilled Business Support Officer / Minute Taker to provide effective support to a range of front-line and statutory services. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of safeguarding conferences, requiring an experienced minute taker who can touch type during meetings.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Attend and take minutes at Safeguarding conferences, ensuring accurate and speedy transcription directly onto electronic forms and templates.
  • Organise and coordinate meetings, diaries, and appointments, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Undertake project work and research, delivering high-quality information and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Respond to various types of correspondence and manage both incoming and outgoing information effectively.
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, maintaining strong communication links.
  • Handle administrative duties while managing interruptions, queries, and conflicting demands from customer queries and requests.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in minute taking, with the ability to type accurately and quickly during meetings.
  • Experience handling highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Capable of conducting research and providing comprehensive written and verbal reports.
  • Skilled in using mobile IT devices for minute taking and meeting servicing.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize conflicting workloads and meet strict deadlines.
