We are seeking an Operations Support Officer to join our team and provide essential support to our Operations Section. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of projects on budget, time, and quality targets, while maintaining a customer-focused service.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Process timesheets, allocate works, and order materials.
  • Assist Operations Managers in successfully delivering projects.
  • Support the function of the Operations Section to meet client requirements.
  • Contribute to service improvements in Construction Services.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standing orders.
  • Resolve queries and enquiries from tenants, clients, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare correspondence and assist in the collation of information for final accounts and valuations.
  • Provide technical support on Capital works projects and Repairs and Maintenance.
  • Maintain information systems and ensure a customer-focused approach in all service aspects.
  • Participate in meetings, team briefings, and staff conferences as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in a Construction, Engineering, Maintenance, or Manufacturing environment.
  • Experience providing technical support to operational management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bespoke databases.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines to achieve targets.
  • Positive and flexible approach to team working.
  • Understanding of procedures used to improve service delivery.
