We are seeking an Operations Support Officer to join our team and provide essential support to our Operations Section. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of projects on budget, time, and quality targets, while maintaining a customer-focused service.
Day-to-day of the role:- Process timesheets, allocate works, and order materials.
- Assist Operations Managers in successfully delivering projects.
- Support the function of the Operations Section to meet client requirements.
- Contribute to service improvements in Construction Services.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standing orders.
- Resolve queries and enquiries from tenants, clients, customers, and stakeholders.
- Prepare correspondence and assist in the collation of information for final accounts and valuations.
- Provide technical support on Capital works projects and Repairs and Maintenance.
- Maintain information systems and ensure a customer-focused approach in all service aspects.
- Participate in meetings, team briefings, and staff conferences as required.
- Experience in a Construction, Engineering, Maintenance, or Manufacturing environment.
- Experience providing technical support to operational management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and bespoke databases.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines to achieve targets.
- Positive and flexible approach to team working.
- Understanding of procedures used to improve service delivery.
