Working closely with other Engineering disciplines, youll generate design concepts and ideas for a new range of company product. This will consist of full machinery and automated system design, GA & layout drawings, technical calculations, BoMs and liaising with clients and suppliers.
As the company continue to expand, natural progression into further Senior Engineering positions is not uncommon. Applicants from a machinery/automation design background will be favoured.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Apprentice Trained / HNC/D or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong 3D CAD skills
- Proven design experience in Bespoke Machinery
- Strong knowledge of Automation & Robotics
- GD&T (BS8888)
- Material selection, machining methods and techniques
- Project Management experience
