A Quality Technician is sought for a leading player in the Manufacturing sector, based in Barnsley. The successful candidate will be a pivotal member of the Engineering & Manufacturing department, ensuring the consistent standard of product quality.

Description
- Ability to read engineering drawings/specifications.
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and trained in internal auditing.
- Maintaining quality manuals and associated documents.
- Responsibility for the generation, monitoring and reporting of KPIs.
- Resolve product related problems and supplier quality issues. Non conformance/8D reporting.
- Day to day management of all Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments and associated documentation.
- Good communication and reporting skills between shop floor and senior management.
- Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, IMDS, REACH, ROHS, ISO18001, ISO 14001 and Aerospace AS 9100 would be desirable.
