Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in Barnsley as they look to recruit a Part Time Bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis.
Duties will include but won't be limited to:
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Monitor cash flow, track expenses, and reconcile bank statements
- VAT returns
- Reconciling Accounts
- Proactively chasing outstanding arrears and payments
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts
- Collaborate with the management to create and manage budgets
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Manage tax filings and liaise with external auditors
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience from a similar role
- Have a good understanding of Accounting
- Have good IT and finance system skills, as well as good MS Excel skills
- Possess excellent communication and attention to detail skills
