£13.50 - £18.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are recruiting experienced Class 2 Drivers to work for various clients within the Barnsley area.

You must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes.

We are looking for drivers to work on general haulage, pallet work, home delivery, store deliveries and fridge work.

Some of our clients operate 24 hours, 7 days a week so full-time and part-time hours are available.

Rates of Pay

• Monday to Friday day shifts pay starting from £13.50 per hour
• Monday to Friday night shifts pay starting from £15 per hour
• Saturday pay starting from £16 per hour
• Sunday pay starting from £17 per hour and up to £18 per hour

Day to Day Duties

• Drive Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Multi Drop work
• Pallet work
• Ensure vehicle is well presented at all times
• Handball may be required
• Home deliveries
• Fridge Work
• General Haulage
• Abide by driving rules & regulations
• Use a tail lift
• Ability to use electric pump truck

Essential Skills

• Hold a UK Category C Driving License and have held this for at least one year
• Hold a UK DIGI Card
• Hold a UK CPC Card
• No more than six penalty points
• No major endorsement codes
• Over the age of 25 due to insurance purposes
• Excellent timekeeping
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience working on general haulage is desirable

Training

• Written and Driving Assessment required
