A large logistics company is seeking a Class 2 Driver to join their team on an immediate start. This role involves the collection of waste using a lorry mechanism to lift bins. Candidates must be physically fit, as the role requires walking to locate bins and, at times, manually bringing them to the lorry.
Key Responsibilities:- Operating Class 2 vehicles to collect and transport waste.
- Using the vehicle's lifting mechanism to empty bins.
- Walking to locate bins and occasionally repositioning them for collection.
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Ensuring compliance with all driving regulations.
- Full, clean Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Physically fit and comfortable with a role that involves walking and manual handling.
- Reliable and flexible, with the ability to adapt to varying start times.
- Standard Rate: £16.37 per hour
- Saturday Rate: £20.49 per hour
- Sunday & Bank Holiday Rate: £21.00 per hour
