Roles and Responsibilities:
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials according to plans and specifications.
- Measure and cut materials to precise dimensions for framing, roofing, and finishing projects.
- Work with various tools and machinery, including saws, drills, and sanders, ensuring safety procedures are followed.
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and ensuring that workspaces are safe and organized.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Joiner in a construction environment.
- NVQ in Joinery is ESSENTIAL
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- DBS Check
- Will need asbestos awareness
