Join Our Team as a Childcare Quality and Improvement Officer Pay - £12.18 to £17.12 per hourLocation - Barnsley, across various settingsHybrid working We are searching for a passionate and experienced Childcare Professional to become an integral part of our Early Years Quality Team in the Borough of Barnsley. In this role, you’ll play a key part in enhancing childcare standards across the borough. We seek someone with a strong foundation in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), comprehensive knowledge of Ofsted regulations, and a commitment to safeguarding children. What You’ll Do
  • Provide expert advice, support, information, and training to various childcare settings and Ofsted-registered childminders.
  • Collaborate with Family Hubs, childcare providers, and agencies to build partnerships and improve outcomes for children.
  • Deliver targeted support to new and developing childcare providers, helping them reach high standards of quality.
What We’re Looking For
  • A qualified professional in Early Years or Childcare, with extensive experience in high-quality childcare provision.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
  • A motivated leader who can inspire and guide others towards achieving excellence in childcare.
