Electrical Project Manager | Commercial / Critical Building Services | 60,000+ 5,000Car Allowance | North of England.

We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Project Manager to work across a wide Building Services portfolio across commercial / critical Environments including Data Centres, Offices and similar properties.

Projects will range from small works up to new builds, with values from 50K up to 10M project value. Projects may include; new vuilds / installations, extensions, M&E (mechanical &electrical)upgrades, large major repairs, snagging etc.

Duties:

As the Electrical Project Manager, some of your duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Working across a wide range of Projects from small works (50K+), through to large 10M project values.
  • Dependant on project size, you may be managing 1 or multiple projects at any one time.
  • Ensuring project timelines remain on-schedule and within budget.
  • Ensuring high quality workmanship from in-house staff and sub-contractors.
  • Managing both in-house staff and external sub-contractors.
  • Ensuring full compliance and health and safety regulations are met on-site by in-house staff and external sub-contractors.
  • Management of internal staff, ie: Site Managers / Project Supervisors etc.
  • Working closely with others within Projects team, ie: Head of Projects, Quantity Surveyors etc.
  • Working within commercial / critical environments (offices, hospitals, data centres etc)

Requirements:

  • Must have a technical electrical background, ie: City and Guilds Part 2 236/ NVQ L3 / City and Guilds Level 3 2330 or equivalent.
  • Must have experience as a Project Manager.
  • Must have experience working within commercial / critical environments / with commercial / critical electrical systems.
  • Must be able to drive as projects will be based across the North of England.
