Mach Recruitment is recruiting for Mechanical Operators to work in a large warehouse and distribution site in .
The role:
As a Mechanical Operator you will be working within a warehouse environment and your duties will be as followed:
- To follow daily housekeeping schedule
- Liaise with Wire mill manager / Process lead / Shift lead
- Weigh, record & report scrap / scale levels
- Organize & ensure consumables (Sanding belts, soap etc.) are stored correctly / neatly
- Organize and review all secondary equipment, die station, wire drawing equipment
- Assist in other departments if required
- Control further processing, delivery or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
- Eradicate or minimise all scrap / waste at all times.
- Complete any reasonable request by management
- Train to cover wire mill operators when required
About you:
As a Mechanical Operator you will have the following skills and experience:
- Wire drawing experience preferred
- Minimum of 1 year within a manufacturing department
