About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a nursery early years (EYFS) class on a full-time basis until the end of the academic year. This role will be full-time, and is best suited to a level 3 qualified teaching assistant who will be able to commit to the role until the end of the academic year. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide consistent support to early years children within the classroom
  • Engaging the children with educational activities and managing transitions
  • Monitor and support the children's safety, assisting with self-care tasks
  • Set up a range of engaging activities around the EYFS framework
  • Promote the use of Read Write Inc phonics scheme, supported by the class teacher

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in EYFS
