Samuel Frank is recruiting for a South Yorkshire based engineering company as theyre looking to add a new Electrical Design Engineer to the team on a staff basis. The successful Electrical Design Engineer will work on a wide variety of complex projects and have the opportunity to progress to more senior roles in the department.

Electrical Design Engineers key responsibilities:

Producing Single Line Diagrams & General Arrangement
Attending and contributing to design review meetings
Creating detailed electrical schematics and layouts
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project specifications
Produce documentation related to Factory Acceptance Testing and attend test sessions at panel manufacturer sites
Knowledge of industrial control systems including electrical distribution equipment, motor control centres and PLC control panels

Electrical Design Engineers main requirements:

Strong Electrical Design background
Proficiency in 2D AutoCAD
Working knowledge of BS EN 60204 and BS7671
Experience working on industrial or commercial projects
Ability to work effectively in an office-based team (4 days/week)

The office is commutable from Leeds, Sheffield, Barnsley, Doncaster, Wakefield, Chesterfield, Huddersfield, Pontefract, Rotherham, Batley, Bradford and Chesterfield.
