A great opportunity has arisen for a day's electrical maintenance engineer to join a leading manufacturer who supply to a variety of industries including Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, FMCG & Power ensuring a stable

Job Description:

  • Lead the site maintenance function in providing both a reactive and pro-active, multi-skilled maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
  • Specific experience in the maintenance of high voltage electrical equipment.
  • Responsible for planned and timely completion of all work carried out.
  • Increase the site operational effectiveness, improve on project delivery, mean time between failure and downtime reduction, manage and implement improvement plans, driving Key Performance Indicators and ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
  • Controls and manages any additional overtime working hours to adhere to agreed deadlines.
  • Manage the tasks on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures with the responsibility of documenting records on Factory Master.
  • Implement and manage continuous improvement and modern manufacturing principles by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes.
  • Develop and present the yearly expense budget for the maintenance function.
  • Build sound relationships with 3rd party service providers.
  • Implement training and education to enhance employee growth and continued job performance improvement.
  • Be proficient at Root Cause Analysis to accurately determine a model failure mode cause.
  • Always be Courteous and respectful of others and address fellow employees with respect.
