Working with nationally recognised manufacturer, Futures are recruiting an Environmental OfficerThe role has been designed by the business to manage all aspects of environment and to ensure the site mains a good level of health and safety awareness and the business is working towards net zero by 2050.

The Enviromental OfficerTo ensure all legislative requirements are met.Responsible for the coaching of HRS Waste water treatmentTo monitor and evaluate health and safety performance against KPIs and report and communicate to group and the site.To ensure the sites fire prevention precautions are complied with, and review fire risk assessmentsTo ensure that risk assessments/safe systems of work requirements are metTo liaise with site HR and Training Officer to ensure that operational training complies with Health and Safety legislationTo deliver and work with the site on delivering a recognised accreditations for Health and Safety / EnvironmentDeliver the 4P's Health and Safety processProactively work with other areas of the business to develop SHE cultureManagement and investigation of environmental complaints from third partiesManagement of the site overhead waste treatmentNegotiation of the environmental service agreements/contractsProactively develop regular SHE reports

The successful candidate will ideally come from a manufacturing/FMCG environment. You will need to have experience of SHE management process within a manufacturing environment and have experience with environmental management systems.They will be able to demonstrate the ability to control budgets, communicate effectively with all areas of the business and concentrate on continuous improvement initiatives.
