Financial Analyst – responsible for delivering financial budgetary reports and forecasting advice for leading healthcare organisation. 
  • Location: Priory Centre, Barnsley
  • Contract: 12-month FTC – maternity cover
  • Salary: £29,458 per annum
As a Financial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in analysing financial trends, creating forecasting models, and preparing insightful reports for senior stakeholders The scope of the roles also includes supporting with other finance related issues of the Federation as a whole and for specific projects or service areas.  Key responsibilities include:
  • Analyse financial performance trends, producing reports and insights for executive management.
  • Develop financial models to forecast income, particularly for QOF and IIF contract targets.
  • Oversee financial functions, including budgeting, audits, cost control, and month-end reporting.
  • Collaborate with HR to manage workforce financial planning and recruitment budgets.
  • Support finance team activities such as payroll processing, tax year-end reports, and pension management.
 Do you have the following?
  • Qualifications: AAT, or equivalent; relevant finance degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in finance, including accounts payable/receivable, budget control, and payroll.
  • Skills: Proficiency with Xero, Excel, and strong analytical skills; NHS knowledge is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, adaptable, and a team player with excellent communication skills.
