The Company: This is a very exciting Financial Planner opportunity working for an excellent IFA firm based in Barnsley who are looking for someone to come in and inherit an existing client bank of circa 80 HNW private clients. Advice specialisms for the firm sit within retirement and pension planning, mortgages, investments and financial protection; with the role very service led and client relationship focused.

  • Office Location: Barnsley
  • Hybrid/Home Working: Yes - Flexible

Package: £50-55k base + bonus and full company benefits

  • Bonus Setup: 20% bonus on all new business
  • Benefits: Pension, DIS + Westfield Health Scheme
  • Holidays: 25-days + stats

The Role: To deliver quality financial planning and wealth management to existing private wealth clients. Duties include:

  • Provide independent financial advice across a wide range of areas, including pensions, investments, life insurance, and tax and estate planning.
  • Conduct in-depth client meetings to assess their financial situation, goals, and risk tolerance.
  • Develop and present personalized financial plans and recommendations tailored to client needs.
  • Regularly review and adjust client portfolios to ensure alignment with their objectives.
  • Use cashflow planning to create a full financial plan and update according to review frequency and change in client circumstances
  • Ensure all advice and recommendations are compliant with current regulations and industry standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of client meetings, advice given, and ongoing portfolio management.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, offering ongoing support and guidance.
  • Regularly meet with clients to review their financial strategies and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Complete all reviews in a timely manner ensuring full documentation is in place
  • Be comfortable carrying out client reviews remotely and face to face

The Person: You must be QCF level 4 Diploma qualified, hold CAS and have private wealth focused advisory experience. The role will suit someone looking for a servicing biased role yet is comfortable in a role spanning new business development and earning bonus via new business generation on onboarding fresh AUM.
