This successful innovative company are specialists in fluid power equipment and are looking for a purchasing and spare parts manager to help them revamp, streamline and improve the organisation of their Spare Parts Operation.

The Role

Your main objective will be to ensure that their service engineers and customers have the right stock and kit at the right time. This is a fast-paced role that requires a proactive approach to sourcing and purchasing parts, managing inventory and developing relationships with suppliers and customers

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and purchase parts, ranging from low to high value
  • Manage inventory for traceability and stock control
  • Provide engineers and customers with part's and kits
  • Maintain and update BOM's for machinery and sub-assemblies
  • Implement and develop a new management system for parts
  • Design processes that enhance operational efficiency.

Ideal Skills Profile

  • This role is ideal for a self-starter who is eager to establish and maintain robust purchasing systems within a dynamic engineering environment.
  • Previous experience within a machinery, hydraulic or pneumatic environment would be ideal
