Ristara Engineering is working in partnership with a family run business that manufactures and builds motorsport cars from an initial shell to be ready for racing.

Manufacturing parts for precision automotive industry with over 60 years experience in advanced engineering manufacture with a level of expertise and capabilities that are hard to be matched. The site has dedicated areas for shell preparation, fabrication, composites production, CNC machining, paint and body shop, assembly and distribution.

Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents. Please also note at this time we do not offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Responsibilities and Duties are required for the Composite Fabricator role:

  • Prepare composite materials for fitting, ensuring accurate cutting, shaping, and lay-up.
  • Assemble composite structures, components, and bodywork using hand and power tools.
  • Utilize specialized bonding techniques and resins to secure composite parts effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with our design and engineering teams to implement the latest advancements and innovations in composite technology.
  • Conduct quality inspections to identify any defects or imperfections and ensure compliance with strict performance standards.
  • Proven experience as a Composite Fitter within the automotive and/or motorsport industry.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of composite materials, manufacturing techniques, and bonding methods specific to automotive and motorsport applications.
  • Experience working with composites, resin and other advanced composite materials.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools, equipment, and software used in composite fabrication.

Qualifications and Skills are required for the Composite Fabricator role:
