Draughtsman

White Label is representing an engineering business in theBarnsley area who are looking to recruit a Draughtsperson permanently due to increased workload.

The bulk of the role will be the design of structural steelwork and architectural metalwork using Tekla and AutoCAD.

My client is offering a salary of up to 50,000 + 20 days holiday + 1 extra day holiday per 4 years of service, pension, private healthcare, and flexible working hours.

Duties of the Draughtsperson

• Site surveys.
• Create GA drawings.
• Produce manufacturing drawings using Tekla and AutoCAD.
• Liaise with customers answering any queries and following up on client specifications.
• Liaise with the site managers and contracts managers to ensure jobs run on time and the specifications are correct.

Experience required of the Draughtsperson

• Experience in structural steel/fabrication is essential.
• Tekla/AutoCAD experience.
• Competent at site surveys.
