Role: Materials Scheduler and Estimator
Location: Barnsley
Salary: £26,000 to £28,000 p/a plus bonus
Adept Resourcing Group is excited to be working alongside a well known and rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Barnsley. Together we are searching for an entry-level Materials Scheduler and Estimator to join their dedicated and fast paced technical team.
The role of Materials Scheduler and Estimator would be ideal for candidates looking to enter into a career in manufacturing following completion of their university or college courses. We're looking for someone resilient, proactive and dedicated candidate who wishes to join a company where personal and professional progression is at the heart of what they do.
Materials Scheduler and Estimator Duties and Responsibilities:
- Creation of detailed electronic bills of quantities
- Materials scheduling
- Technical submittals
- Creation of quotes from schedules, technical drawings and submittals.
Materials Scheduler and Estimator Qualities:
- Positive
- Driven
- Able to meet tight deadlines
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Materials Scheduler and Estimator Qualifications:
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Essential)
- Good knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Building Services Engineering (not essential as all training will be provided)
- Experienced in CAD design software.
