Job Title: Headteacher

Start Date: September 2025
Salary: £260-£315 per day (Depending on experience)

TeacherActive are on the lookout for one amazing candidate to take on the role of Headteacher at one of our partner Secondary schools in Barnsley. The successful candidate will need to hit the ground running and will have experience in similar settings previously. The school in question has an overall ‘Good’ rating from OFSTED and is proud to have made such incredible improvements however with their current Headteacher retiring they are now looking for somebody who can continue to improve the school and achieve amazing results.
The successful Headteacher will have:
-Previous experience as a Headteacher or Head of Department in a secondary school
-A strong mindset and the drive to achieve goals
-The ability to maintain positive teaching environments in lessons by ensuring staff quality
