Role Overview:
As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you will support teachers in delivering lessons, assist students with their learning, and create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will work with individuals and small groups, helping them to overcome learning barriers and build confidence in their abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in delivering structured and engaging lessons.
- Provide tailored support to students who require additional help.
- Work with small groups or individuals to reinforce key learning concepts.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and those facing challenges.
- Help maintain a positive classroom environment and encourage student engagement.
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and areas for development.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with young people in an educational or mentoring role.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for education and a desire to positively impact students’ lives.
- A relevant qualification in education or child development is advantageous but not essential.
