Technical Advisor£24,000 - £27,000Barnsley26 days holiday. Company events. Standard Pension.My client is looking for a self-motived individual with a passion for Technology. You will be required to support customers within the Transport and Haulage industry. You will be required to answer customer calls and provide technical support to clients.

The Role

  • Perform routine technical assistance and maintenance duties
  • Update systems with new telematic installations
  • Assist with R&D on Vehicle Tracking, DVR, & Dash Camera systems
  • Help customers with footage downloads
  • Respond to customer inquiries via email and phone
  • Troubleshoot software and networking issues
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop platforms

Skills & Experience required

  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Incident management
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Software and Network troubleshooting
  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Technical support: 2 years (preferred)
