We are working with Barnsley Council to find a Project Manager on a interim basis.Location: Barnsley. Hybrid. 3 days per week in office.Job Type: Temporary (3 months, likely to be extended)Umbrella hourly rate: £27.44 per hour. Please state your hourly rate expectations if they differ from this.We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the redesign and implementation of an integrated model to improve service access, responsiveness, and efficiency within our 0-19 Public Health Nursing Service. This role is crucial in delivering the Healthy Child Programme and ensuring high-quality integrated care and services to improve outcomes for children, young people, and families across the Borough of Barnsley.Day-to-Day of the Role:-          Lead the redesign and implementation of an integrated service model using digital technologies.-          Collaborate with various stakeholders including IT, customer service, and service users to ensure successful project delivery.-          Provide timely advice and support to service users and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.-          Utilise and enhance digital technologies to improve service delivery.-          Manage project resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.-          Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to stakeholders.Required Skills & Qualifications:-          Significant experience in project management within a large organisation, preferably in public sector or local authority.-          Experience in health or social care settings is advantageous but not essential.-          Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.-          Proficient in Microsoft applications and familiar with digital technologies.-          Enhanced DBS required.
