IT Service Desk Technician - Barnsley (2 days WFH) - £30K

Due to recent promotions and internal growth, a close-knit IT consultancy based in Barnsley are looking to expand their 2nd Line team.

As a leading technology company, you will become part of a reputable organisation dedicated to delivering exceptional services to end users across the UK. The team is expanding across the business, and you will be joining a proactive, and strongly motivated team. Key Skills required:

  • Previous experience in either a support desk or field/customer facing role
  • Windows Server 11-10 OS & Desktop OS experience
  • O365 administration e.g. SharePoint, OneDrive
  • Azure AD
  • Networking - good experience with firewall technologies, VPNs etc
  • Proven experience troubleshooting and diagnostic experience via logs, tickets and reports
  • Exchange Server experience

The roles and responsibilities of the role include administering 1st & 2nd Line support requests, accurate call logging and relevant escalation when necessary. Working closely with the other Service Desk team in a collaborative environment and line management whilst sharing experience and skills where applicable.
