Field Service Engineer - Barnsley£35.000 - £40000Our client works with prestigious brands such as Case Construction, Terex Ecotec, and Keestrack, we deliver our customers' requirements for all their Earthmoving and Recycling needs. The client has heavily invested in the company opening new sites.Reporting to the Service & Warranty Manager.Duties:Travelling to and working at customer sites servicing and resolving problems on heavy plant.Liaising with service team and technical support to solve problems, order parts.Completion and submissions of reports and hoursKnowledge:Extensive knowledge on a variety of heavy plant including:Wheeled LoadersExcavatorsTrack LoadersShreddersScreensWaste HandlersKnowledge of the following brands would be advantageous:Case Construction Equipment, Terex Ecotec, KeestrackCompetency & Understanding:Competent with reading/understanding hydraulic and electrical schematicsUnderstanding of in engine aftertreatment systems, SCR, DPFGood understanding of electrical circuitsGood problem solving and diagnostic skillsGood IT skillsGood literacy skillsGood Communications skillsQualifications:Driving LicenseApprentice NVQ level 3 plant maintenance or similarQuarry passportPassport to safetyAir conditioningThe Person:Must be comfortable working as part of a team and on own initiativeMust be flexible with working hours when required (possible late nights or weekend work)The Package:Basic Working Hours - 0800 - 1630 / 40 hours per weekOpportunities for overtime as and when requiredCompetitive rates of pay dependent on skills and experienceHoliday entitlement - 32 daysPotential EOT tax-free bonusBUPA Health Benefit SchemePension SchemeLife Assurance and associated benefitsBirthday LeaveHoliday Buy BackSick PayCycle to Work Scheme
