Risk Manager

Risk Manager - Barnsley We are currently working with a prestigious Main Contractor who are looking for a Risk Manager to join them working within the Rail sector.Location: BarnsleySalary: £65 000 - £80 000 plus additional benefits Positions Responsibilities:* Manage/Lead the project risk management program across the project.* Drive focus on actively managing risks.* Mentor, train, and advise project leaders in risk awareness.* Deliver training in project risk management.* Facilitate context focused Workshops monthly.* Deliver to the Project Execution Plan and develop specific project risk management procedures.* Report top risks and quantitative analysis to key internal and external stakeholders.* Represent the project risk management program at project leadership meetings.Basic Qualifications:* Experience in Qualitative Risk* Ability to establish Quantitative Risk Management (QSRA QCRA)* Experience facilitating risk workshops, risk reviews/ sessions.* Professional experience in engineering and construction with direct responsibility for management. * Established Rail and transportation experience* Experience working in rail sector preferably.* Knowledge of international risk standards (e.g., ISO31000, PMI, etc.), and risk management tools (e.g., ARM, At-Risk, etc.).* Experience with the holistic approach of risk management at portfolio and/or program level.* Experience managing multi-discipline teams.* Excellent communication skills (English language) at multiple levels of management and client relations.* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).strategic quick thinker with abilities to deliver messaging across all layers of the project team.If interested please contact John Baker or Kat Oxlade
