Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are working with a market leading, food manufacturer based in Barnsley, in the search for a Production Planner. My client is currently operating at c£100 million turnover and going through a period of substantial growth over the last few years.
My client is looking for a Production Planner to efficiently plan production across the site in both low risk and high risk. The successful incumbent will be expected to control processed and boxed stock, whilst ensuring the technical restrictions are adhered to. This role requires a sound analytical technique and the ability to prioritise and manage deadlines whilst maintaining a keen eye for detail.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with Production Managers when generating production plans to ensure resources available
- Monitor and control stocks and challenge variances
- Communicate with sales, technical and production to ensure that throughput is in accordance with the plan and in line with customer specifications
- Ensure awareness of new products, changes to specifications and promotions
Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain would be keen to speak with candidates who have the following skills and experiences:
- Experience operating within a Food/FMCG environment
- Highly organised individual with the ability to maintain records
- Confident communicator in order to maximise efficiencies across the production process
