Legal Secretary/Assistant - Private ClientSJC Partners are working with a highly reputable Law Firm who are looking for a Legal Secretary/Assistant to join their Private Client Team based in Barnsley.The Firm are looking for someone who has background knowledge of Private Client.The Role:
- Assist solicitors in preparing legal documents, including wills, powers of attorney, and trusts.
- Conduct legal research and draft correspondence as required.
- Support clients with their legal matters, including answering queries and providing updates.
- Manage and maintain client files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up to date
Key Skills required:
- IT literate with high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent diary management.
- Exemplary document management and filing.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- Experience of delegating to junior team members
