Forde Recruitment, the leading provider of Industrial workers within South Yorkshire, is currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer for their esteemed client based in the S75 area of Barnsley.
This is a full-time, permanent role.
The company have a global reach and a multi-million-pound turnover; we have built up an excellent reputation for the on-time supply of quality products to the oil and gas. Automotive andaerospace industries. Due to growth, our client requires a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer predominantly for their site in Tankersley.
This role would suit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, looking for a stable role within a leading company that cares for its staff and with a competitive package for days regular.
The Role:
Electrical & Mechanical PPMs (implementing, organising and achieving)
H&S aware (IOSH)
Maintaining and repairing industrial machinery such as guillotines, shears, shot blasters, band saws etc.
A valued member of the projects committee with input to continuous improvements, from design to implementation
Monday to Friday, days regular (hours to suit, flexible)
Covering 2 sites (Tankersley and Sheffield)
The Person:
Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer (ideally apprentice trained)
Manufacturing background (medium to heavy industry)
Mechanical experience of shears, guillotines, shot blasters, band saws etc
Good communicator and team worker
Electrical Maintenance, Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, 3-Phase, Hydraulics, Gears, PLC, Control, Wiring, Pneumatics, Industrial,
Flexibility on both days/hours of work.
Pension, 25 days holiday plus stats (pro rata), Company discretionary bonus.
Pay: From £40,000.00 per year
