Our Client is a market leading manufacturer and are looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Technician with a background in machine repair, PPM and problem solving at their Barnsley site.
What you can expect in this role:
- Production plant and equipment maintenance
- Planned and preventative maintenance
- Day to day machine breakdown resolution
- Work a 4 shift rota, 7 days, including nights, days, earlys and afters
What we need from you:
- Be an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a minimum of 4 years industrial experience, NVQ level 3 qualified or equivalent.
- Have previous experience in a fast paced engineering environment.
- Be computer literate with experience of CMMS systems
- Be able to work under your own initiative
- Be willing to work overtime to cover spikes in production demand and holiday/sickness cover within the department.
