Graduate Design Engineer (Civil)

Are you a Graduate Structural Engineer or similar who is looking to join a company that can offer training, pay and role progression and the opportunity to get 1 to 1 training with industry professionals?

This company is a Civil and Structural Engineer Consultancy who operate across the United Kingdom, working with house hold names within the industry, from small businesses to multinational corporations to government bodies, meaning you will gain valuable experience to help advance your skills.

In this role you will be working on a number of projects across major civil engineering sectors including Network Rail, the Environment Agency and the Power sector! Meeting project deadlines and budgets along with liaising with clients, supply chains, stakeholders and colleagues is a key part of the role.

The Role:

  • Potential hybrid working after probation period

  • Structural analysis (FEM) and produce calculation reports across a wide range of projects
  • Liaising with technicians and checking drawings are in line with design
  • Communicating effectively with clients, attending design team meetings and site visits.

The Person:

  • Knowledge of structural design packages and software
  • 1 years' experience in a structural design or similar
