Family Lawyer - Legal Aid Focus

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

A well-established and growing high street law firm in South Yorkshire is seeking an experienced Family Lawyer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive environment, handling a caseload primarily focused on legal aid family matters.

The Role

The successful candidate will manage a varied family law caseload, including:

  • Private law children matters
  • Injunctions and protective orders
  • Divorce and financial settlements

Advocacy experience and familiarity with the Legal Aid Agency CCMS system and HMCTS portal would be advantageous but are not essential.

Requirements

  • Experience in family law, particularly legal aid cases
  • Strong case management and client care skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
  • Qualified as FILEX/CILEX or a Solicitor
