- Location: Barnsley, with travel to local sites within the borough.
- Full time, Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours.
- Salary circa £42,000 per annum, dependant on experience.

- Support the business in formulating HR strategies, policies and plans in all areas of HR, and understand the priorities, challenges, and key drivers to influence all key decisions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.
- Coach and support line managers on absence, disciplinary and grievance issues and ensure managers have the appropriate skills to manage these people processes.
- Provide a recruitment and selection service to meet the organisation's resourcing needs in a cost-effective manner.
- Develop and implement initiatives to drive retention and engagement strategies.
- Keep abreast of developments in employment legislation and case law and to be pro-active in ensuring managers are appropriately briefed on relevant changes in new legislation.
- Manage performance processes, appraisals, and training and development requirements for the organisation.
