Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Lunchtime Supervisors to join our team at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Barnsley. The ideal candidates will have previous experience in a similar role and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist with feeding and other personal care tasks as needed.
  • Encourage positive social interactions and support students in developing their social skills.
  • Manage any challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to create a supportive and inclusive environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Lunchtime Supervisor or in a similar role.
