Associate Pest Control Officer

We are seeking an Associate Pest Control Officer to provide a safe, high-quality, and comprehensive service for the eradication and prevention of infestation of a wide range of pests within both domestic and commercial premises.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Support work on all allocated service requests and respond to all in accordance with the latest council, service, and legislative policies.
  • Support investigations to identify solutions in line with the latest council, service, and legislative policies.
  • Support contract reviews to ensure continued suitability for purpose and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to reports to drive continuous improvement.
  • Work to agreed schedules and respond to new priorities as required to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Undertake operational duties in all weathers.
  • Ensure all materials, equipment, and vehicles are used in accordance with council, service, and legislative policies.
  • Comply with Health and Safety, Customer Care, Dignity at Work, and other relevant legislation, policies, and procedures at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid UK driving licence to ‘Category B’ standard.
  • Relevant Level 2 qualification or above.
  • Experience working within a pest control environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience dealing with the public and businesses.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety and its application to daily duties.
