Key Responsibilities:
  • Laboratory Preparation: Assist in the preparation of practical science lessons, ensuring all materials and equipment are ready for use.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Regularly maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring that all tools and apparatus are in excellent working condition.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all laboratory activities comply with health and safety regulations, including the correct storage and disposal of chemicals.
  • Support Teaching Staff: Work closely with science teachers to support the delivery of engaging and effective science lessons.
  • Inventory Management: Keep an accurate record of stock levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain an efficient and well-resourced lab environment.
