Your new companyWe're working with a maintenance contractor to put together a team of trades staff to complete a 4 bedroom house renovation on a contract for a social housing provider on the Wakefield/Barnsley border.Required trades include: Joiner, Plasterer, Plumber, Gas Engineer, TilerFull time roles until job completionAll trades paying £19ph-£22ph dependent on pay type with the gas engineer paying slightly higherASAP startYour new roleJoiner- Removing old kitchens and bathrooms, Replacing all doors, New kitchen & bathroom installs, Skirtings, architraves ect.Plastering- Re-plastering all rooms (boarding where required, skimming all others)Tiler- Re-tiling kitchens and bathrooms (walls and floors)Plumber- Re-plumbing kitchen and bathroom appliances as well as repairing/maintaining any heating systemsGas engineer- boiler service/repair work and also any gas appliancesWill be aspects of demolition/removal works required as well as finishing/painting worksALL ROLES WILL REQUIRE ASPECTS OF HELPING OTHER TRADES AS AND WHEN REQUIREDWhat you'll need to succeedMust have NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent in relevant trade (Gas engineer must have gas safe registration)Must have own tools (materials will be provided)At least 3 years working in relevant sectorPrevious domestic maintenance/refurb experience required2 satisfactory references from within the last 12 monthsPictures of previous works completed beneficial but not essentialWhat you'll get in returnRegular weekly payAround 3 months work depending on the tradePotential for future workOption for holiday pay & pensionWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.
