About the Role: Hays is seeking a passionate and experienced Key Stage 1 Teacher for a well-regarded school in Barnsley. This role offers the chance to inspire young learners and contribute to their early educational journey.Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Key Stage 1 students.
  • Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement engaging and creative lesson plans.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and development.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of students' achievements and behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching Key Stage 1.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and assessment methods.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
