- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-on-one support for students who require additional help.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
- Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt activities to meet their needs.
- Supervise students during break times and school trips.
- Assist with the assessment and recording of students' progress.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in Key Stage 2.
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
